Giving 4 stars for the nostalgic memories associated with this place. visited this place twice in my lifetime but as a kid it was my first adventurous trip of witnessing wild animals. Truly that feeling and experience can't be described in words. Though now there's not much animals left in the zoo, also the variety of animals kept here is less but still one can visit here.

Very beautiful and fully adventurous. Ticket price is affordable. Huge parking area . good shelter available for animals . Rare collection in museum. Beautiful kinder garden . Specially I loved the monkeys ????❤️ , they could be named as the entertainer. And the bird section, that area could be focused too . Toilet is also available (but fix the door cause I found an aunty locked from inside ????) . Snake zone was kinda hilarious.

I recently visited the Assam State Zoo cum Botanical Garden and had a great time. The zoo had a wide variety of animals and birds, including some rare and endangered species. The botanical garden was beautiful and well-maintained, with a variety of plant species to admire. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and there were plenty of facilities like restrooms and food stalls available. It's a great place to spend a few hours with family or friends. Highly recommend visiting if you're in the area!
