I recently visited Digboi on 20-01-2023 after 3yrs gap. When I step down at Digboi Railway station I observed no change in infrastructure in these years but I found the platform area is in worse conditions so dirty poor housekeeping and maintenance. I found Pigeon (Kabutar) make nest at the roof shed of the platform everywhere. (Pigeon potty) everywhere under the platform shed, near station master room, sitting place, infront of waiting room everywhere which is really a very unpleasant scenario to first time visitor to Digboi and other passengers. Secondly I observed E-rickshaw in the Digboi platform in good numbers which is convenient to the passenger for commute to their end destination. I share my views and I can only give suggestions and comments to the Railway management and authority to keep the Digboi Railway station neat & clean and beautiful.
