Dibrugarh Railway Station (DBRG) is a very important railway station of Upper Assam. Many trains originate from and terminate in this station e.g. DBRG-NDLS Rajdhani Express, DBRG-LGH Avadh Assam Express, DBRG-HWH Kamrup Express, DBRG-LTT Express, etc. The station is pretty neat and clean. Small tea stalls are available in Platform #1, but big food stall is not available. The entrance is wheelchair-accessible for Divyangjans. One line comes from Dibrugarh Town (DBRT) station, another line comes from New Tinsukia Jn. (NTSK) side, which at the other end the station connects to areas of northern Assam and Arunachal Pradesh through Bogibeel Bridge and also to other areas of Upper Assam through Sibsagar Town (SRTN).

Clean and well maintained station. This station isn't as crowded as New Tinsukia junction. Most of the trains in upper Assam originates from here. As of now, there is no restaurant in the station which is a bit odd considering the daily footfall. The eating options are limited here. There is no continuous roof along the platforms which can be annoying in heavy rains. Local taxi drivers can be a bit pushy, so don't feel hesitant to be assertive.
