That was a wonderful night we spent at treksome campground. It was awesome, amazing, breathtaking and synonyms ????. It was more like a home.

If you guys are bored of going to all those mainstream places in Araku....then Treksome is the best choice. Because, this campground is located in a small tribal village called Mettavalasa, which i bet many of you haven't heard of.
And trust me,travelling to such places...eating the tribal food, playing with the children over there, stargazing the whole night and waking up to a beautiful view is the best these people offer! I would highly recommend this place.

We've reached the place a bit late, but boy o boy the camping ground was lit as soon as we spotted it from far away, it was dark till we reached but the sound of the stream passing by made the night much more lively. All together i had an amazing experience with treksome. This is where one needs stay to experience the nature's beauty.

IF YOU ARE THE ONE HOOKED TO MOBILE AND LAPTOPS, THEN THIS IS 'THE' PLACE TO BE.... TO SPEND TIME WITH YOURSELF!! IF YOU ARE A NATURE PERSON, WELL WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR!!

Nestled in the lush green valley of Anathagiri Hills, Mettavalasa is a tribal village and the camping ground of #Treksome adjacent to a river.

Owned and managed by the budding entrepreneurs from the village, this is a beautiful weekend destination from Vishakapatnam (100kms).

Below is the fact check:

1. Rate INR 1200 per head includes Dinner & Breakfast, Campfire. If you reach early, you can request for lunch however you need to inform Treksome well in advance.
2. Tents that can accommodate 2 and 4 campers are available
3. You don't have to bother nature in case "nature calls" ????Two toilets are available,
4. Try some delicious food prepared by the locals, mostly veg however non-veg can be arranged if informed in advance.
5. I guess to make campfire lively, open barbeque can be arranged.
6. Night and early morning it gets really misty and wet, plan accordingly
7. Volley ball and a small cricket pitch is available, both netted well lit so that you can play entire night, if you want to beat the mist and cold
8. Ask the team for the trekking trail, there are quite a few around the camping ground
9. Don't forget to pack extra pair of clothes to jump in the river but do check with Treksome before you jump????
10. No mobile network, enjoy and live the life of 90's

Friendly and polite staff, ready to help and guide you with things to do nearby. I had incorrectly booked myself for Nov 16 & 17 and showed up for camping a week before which was pointed out when I was checking in. Despite the bookings they had, I was accommodated!!

There are area of opportunities and with every camping they will and are getting better.
