Wonderful experience. Visiting after 17 years, many things changed.

Waited for about 1 HR in the hall, rest took 30 mins to complete the visit.

Tip: when entering the temple after dwajha sthambam, keep to the extreme right until you get inside the temple. There are 3 rows created, one needs to keep in the extreme right row to get the best view of the Venkateshwara.

Following a visit to Lord Balaji temple, it's almost a ritual to visit Sri Padmavati ammavari temple in Tirupati, to seek the blessings of goddess Mahalakshmi.

It's a beautiful temple in Tirupati located about 6 km from the city. Puja items are available from shops nearby, just before entry to the temple.

There's also an area right opposite to the temple for offering coconuts, and burning Agarbhattis/insence sticks etc.

There's a beautiful pond outside the temple too. Photos of Padmavati/Mahalakshmi and various other gods plus souvenirs etc are available in nearby shops.

After visiting Balaji temple, this is a must-visit holy site when you are in Tirupati.
