I like the exterior of the railway station building. An ongole bull is carved at the centre. The paint looks good. The station itself is decent enough for its size. The facilities, especially waiting halls and bathrooms could be better.

It was a nice place, located in eastern coastal belt in Andhrapradesh. Usually hotter in summer. It was famous for quality breed cows, which were exported to different countries earlier. People in this region prefer spicy food. Large volumes of cashew and mango produced and exported from here. It is also famous for Granite ores of unique variety.
