Station is partially renovated for better. Platforms are longer compared to other stations but shade for waiting passengers may be 30% of platform length.Though one of the busy stations, lot of long distance trains don't have stop here. Major problems of this station is garbage on the west side of the station, stalled partially completed over bridge on north side, late night water problem in the station, late and delayed announcement of train arrival in the station particularly in the night by the time the train is already arrived on the platform.

A very good small station to say the least
Station is pretty neat and clean.display board exists.regular announcements are made.
Proper seating arrangement are there.
Covered area for passengers
Also proper parking facility for vehicles is present.
Basic amenities is very less which needs to improve.
Reservation facility is also there.should build a slope or easy stairs for aged passengers.
The station is very green in looks as it is surrounded by numeous plants and trees.

Clean station with foot over bridge. Waiting area with shade. Please check before bringing wheelchair to the station because it will not be easy to operate one here. Dedicated washroom for people with different ability.
