If you are looking for a posh and good ambience then Olypub is not the place. Its that local bar where you can sit and drink. Good for friends gathering. Not a good place for couple. Very noisy. Food is so so. Earlier it was better but now the food quality is not as good as before. Their last order time is 10p.m. we went on a Saturday night so it very busy. They served food very late like we ordered at 9.10 p.m and got around 9.50. But they were saying Again and again 10.30 is the last time and we need to leave by then. We were there till 10. 45. They didn’t force us to leave. If you are going there try there chicken liver fry, till now the best.????

A very famous, old pub located at Park Street. Location wise it’s a really good place. They serves cheap alcohols, food over years. Chicken Ala kiev was good as well as the chicken cutlet. Quantity was more. Very affordable price. But the surrounding is very noisy, loud.

Probably the most popular bar in Park Street and one of the oldest. Started in 1947 as Olympia and in 80's the name was changed to Olypub. Previously the prices of hard drinks were cheapest in this area and the food was quite tasty. A favourite of the intellectuals. Not so anymore. Mostly the young crowd throngs there and after sundown it becomes almost full. Combined ground floor and first floor seating capacity is huge. Number of staff are not many and it takes quite a long time to get the ordered items during peak hours. If someone wants to have a couple of shots peacefully, then this is not the right place, but it's good for groups who don't mind the cacophony and add a decible or two gleefully. One can always pay a visit to get the feel of a different kind of ambience in Park Street.
