A Culinary Catastrophe at the Heritage Cafe The Scoop New Empire inside Alipore Zoo

I recently had the unfortunate experience of dining at the Heritage Cafe The Scoop New Empire, inside the Alipore Zoo, and I must say, it was nothing short of a culinary catastrophe. From the moment I walked in, my expectations were high, but unfortunately, they were met with disappointing fervor.

Now, onto the menu. It boasted a selection of dishes that sounded promising on paper, but oh, how deceiving they turned out to be! I decided to try their "fish finger".

What arrived at my table can only be described as a pitiful and pathetic excuse. It was an insult to fish lovers everywhere. The smell of the fish was so nasty and damn strong which showed that it was not cooked properly.

But the fish finger was just the tip of the iceberg.

To add insult to injury, the service was abysmal. The staff seemed disinterested and inattentive, as if they would rather be anywhere else than serving customers. It took an eternity for my order to arrive, and even then, the waiter managed to mix it up with another customer's.

In terms of value for money, the cafe was a complete letdown. The exorbitant prices they charged for such poor quality was nothing short of a robbery. I wouldn't mind paying a premium for exceptional food and service, but this place fell painfully short on both fronts.

Overall, my experience at this place was a disaster. From the uninspiring ambiance to the woeful food and lackluster service, it was a perfect storm of disappointment. Save your taste buds and your money—steer clear of this café unless you have an inexplicable desire for culinary mediocrity. There are far better options out there that won't leave you with a bitter taste in your mouth.

MOST IMPORTANTLY, the manager- the lady, behaved in such a disrespectful way that can't be explained in words when I gave my opinion regarding the fish finger.
