Ekdalia evergreen is conducting the auspicious Durgapuja since 1943 in South Kolkata, one of the oldest community puja. Every year they make their pandal replicating a beautiful indian temple and is famous for it's chandelier and traditional Durga pratima. At night the whole street is decked with inviting lightings. This year the pujo was dedicated to the beloved late Subrotoda, the soul of this durgapuja for many years. His presence was immensely missed, but the tradition of carrying such a huge Pujo was forwarded dutifully. Ekdalia is a must visit for it's rich traditional value amidst the new age theme pujos in Kolkata. ❤️????

Ekdali Evergreen : This pujo is pure nostalgia...
Used to call it Subrota mukherjee r pujo.
The big pandal often replica of temple and Big Durga pratima which am seeing since my childhood.
And the best part biggest Jhumar/jharbati..one of main attraction once inside the pandal..
And never forget about the lighting..

One of the best and most famous Durga Puja of South Kolkata..their main attraction is their Durga idol and the lightings.
