This temple is located on the banks of the river Hoogly and is next to a crematorium. This is a Shiv temple and is more associated those visiting the crematorium for final rites of those being cremated.

Mostly in ShivRatri and Monday there will be huge crowd. ????????????????
Timing- 6am to 8pm Daily. Timing may change as per occasions.

Bhutnath Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva..It is situated right next to Nimtala crematorium on the Strand Road in Ahiritola. There is a 300-year old ritual where the shivling idol is worshipped with the ashes of a dead body from the Nimtala Ghat Crematorium. There is a silver barricade around the garbhagriha and is famous for the bhasmarti ritual and evening sringar. Since it is on the banks of Ganga, There are several shops outside The temple where you can find flowers, sweets, and other offerings for Mahadev. There you keeping your shoes.
Maa kali temple just opposite of baba Bhutnath must visite.
The temple is accessible by Metro and local autos from Sovabazar, boats to Ahiritola launch ghat, suburban circular train (Sovabazar Ahiritola station), and bus stop at Jorabagan.

This popular temple is located near the banks of river Hooghly just adjacent to the Nimtala Cremation ghat. The lord Shiva is worshiped here. The river Hooghly added the holyness of this place. During 'Shivaratri' the temple is visited by thousands of devotees.. Many shops are there to sell flower & sweets for offering by the devotees.
