Situated on good height. One has to climb good number of stairs. But doable and worth visiting. Very old shiva temple. And the view of valley from here is gorgeous. If you are staying at kmvn then its a good trek. Around 30min beginners trek.

This is small temple of Lord Shiva and located around 50 KM from Nainital. Temple is located in a dence forest and the place is really peaceful. You need a complete day if you plan to visit this temple from Nainital. This is a very old temple located on top of a hill. The view of surrounding hilly around from this place is really mesmerizing. Very peaceful place is this and while going to this place you will get a chance to visit apple garden located between the route. Don't forget to take a look to understand how apple farming happens.

One of the beautiful place … but sometimes gets crowded, mainly on weekends…
To reach to the temple you have to trek for around 250 metres…
Trek is not so smooth so I would recommend NOT to reach the temple in single walk, there are lot of side benches installed on trek route. You can sit and relax for few minutes then can continue your trek.
But definitely once you reach there all of your tiredness will gone in seconds. As the temple is very beautiful and offers beautiful view points to the backside mountain ranges.
Temple is mainly dedicated to Lord Shiva and the other deities are Durga/Shakti, Ram & Bhoomi Devta.
