The museum is named after the first Victoria Cross recipient, Darban Singh Negi. Being the first Indian soldier to receive this honour. The museum is established and maintained by the Garhwal Rifle Regiment, Lansdowne. It's show the history of GRR, collection of medals,awards, photographs,citation for gallantry from Britons to Indian government,weapons they won during different wars from 1st World War, 2nd world war & wars of post independence. If interested in history then a must visit place. Entrance fee ₹30 per person payable through cards or other modes of online payment. Photography is not permitted inside museum.

दरवान सिंह संग्रहालय गढ़वाल राइफल्स के प्रथम विक्टोरिया क्रॉस प्राप्त दरवान सिंह नेगी जी के नाम पर है। यह एक ऐतिहासिक रक्षा संग्रहालय है। दरवान सिंह संग्रहालय में गढ़वाल राइफल्स के दुर्लभ अस्त्र शस्त्र, वीरगति को प्राप्त हुए सैनिकों के नाम पदनाम सहित उल्लेखित हैं। दरवान सिंह संग्रहालय पौड़ी गढ़वाल जनपद के लैंसडौन में परेड ग्राउंड के समीप स्थित है। दरवान सिंह संग्रहालय का उद्घाटन 1983 में किया गया था।
