Excellent place to visit and pray. It’s on a hill top and There are two temples. You have to go by rope way over there, with tickets costing around 180 per person to and fro. The temples over there are Chandi Devi and Anjani Devi. Temples are kept clean and local food stalls are also available. Must visit if you are travelling to Haridwar. You can view Ganga river very clearly from Over the top.

I have been living in Haridwar since my birth but I had never visited Chandi Devi temple via road. It is beautiful mini trek with lush green mountain view.
I left home at 9:30 am and went to the base trek by riding my activa and parked it on Dakshineswar Kali temple.I started my trek at 9:50am and I took almost 25 min to reach on top.(I was clicking pics in between ).
There was no rush in the temple premise so it hardly took 30 mins (to both chandi devi temple and Anjana mata temple).
And It took only 16 mins to come back to the base.
I am sharing some photos which I had clicked.
How to reach on hill top: Either by ropeway or by 2 km trek.
How to reach ropeway ticket counter : By auto, e-rickshaw, own conveyance.
Way to trek starts from the famous and sidhdha Dakshineswar kali mandir .
There is a small market on hill top as well where you can shop gifts and buy prasad.
Samosas, dhokla, pakode , Maggie, kulcha chole etc are also available.
