Baba Ji River Campsite

I was visiting Neeb Karori babaji ashram on 15th June which is an important day for all followers and hence all hotels were booked in advance and there was no availability. With no choice, i booked babaji river campsite so that me and my family including kid can stay at night comfortably.

I had no expectations as saw the previous reviews...but frankly telling that we got entirely great experience in almost all aspects which were far beyond my expectations: -

Good Things:-

1. The camp is located at the bank of the river and in middle of the forest...which was enough for adventurous experience.

2. In day time, weather was hot but had comfortable and awesome feeling when we were sitting at the bank of river and playing with flowing water. In night it was like a winter season and hence had good sleep in provided beds and blankets.

3. Dinner and breakfast were simple vegetarian food but very delicious specially it was great experience to have food in open area with bone fire and at the bank of the river. It was like a piknic.

4. I would tell specially about hospitality when we were not getting any accommodation due to rush on 15th June, we were made relaxed by the owner Mr. Abinash Jha about safety and comfort of us including family and kid and the same hospitality we received. All the staffs were nice to talk and approachable. Room and toilets were clean and had no issue at all. Finally, we had a great trip as we did darshan of Babaji comfortably and a totally adventurous and picnic type stay at Babaji river campsite in night.

"Jahan ham bahut hi doubt me the as we had no booking and we had small kid with us ....Neeb karori baba ji ki badi kripa rahi jo sab achha hota gaya and all things came in line including our stay with the great support of Mr. Abinash Jha and his team. "

Things people may not like:-

1. The approach road is not easy for ladies, kids and old age people as it pass through the jungle along the river but can be managed if you walk by slowly.

2. It is almost 500 mtr from the main road and approx. 700-800 mtr . from main entrance of the Babaji ashram.

3. Kitchen area and utensils are not very clean, which need to be taken care.

Conclusion: - It is a great place to stay if one is going for darshan and want little good time away from stressful daily life.

Worst experience. Staff is drunk half the time they dont greet or trear you properly, very I'll mannered especially AJAY, .we stayed only one night there. I won't recommend anyone to go there. When I tried to call owner he is not answering any calls
And in the there wasn't elctericity amd water for an hour. These all reviews are paid.

Staff (Arun and Prashant) was good in terms of behaviour however in the terms of service there is no staff available once you check in...You will not find manager Rawat after 4 PM in the campsite
