Hiii...Tapta kund in Badrinath is a hot spring water reservoir. This is holy place to take bath in this kund before Darshan of Lord Badrivishal. Here water is very clean and miraculous hot in ultra cold weather. Here different kund is made for gents and ladies and is managed very well. This kund is beneath the lord Badrinath temple. Here pooja and Archana can be performed after taking bath. Changing rooms are also available here ....Thank you very much...????????????

Tapta Kund is near to main Badrinathji Temple. It is miraculous that the water is hot here and water at Alaknanda River flowing sideby is too cold. People usually takes bath here. Many small hotels, therefore, does not have bathrooms for this reason.It is amazing that at freezing temperatures outside boiling water oozes out as if to do an honour to bhagwan...

Tapta kund is a small hot water pond in the premises of Badri Vishal temple. Its amusing to hv hot water from natural source in such a cold weather. Its advised to take a bath in this holy kund before darshan. Separate bathing place for male and female.
