Tumaria barrage or dam is a dam at corbett region of ramnagar in nainital (uttarakhand). Its a place out of the town and a peacful surrounding full of water nakes it more beautiful and sunset is amazing. It is not a mainstream tourist place but still it is beautiful and may be u can have a good view there...

Fairly large rain water dam. Mostly a quiet place and the huge water body makes it a great experience just to be there. There is some wildlife around including a variety of birds. Great place for birding.

The place is really Beautiful its just depends on which weather conditions you come and how lucky you are coz dam reservoirs doesn't have water whole year. And ya the area is open there is no shop near to 3km so do carry your eating and drinking stuff. The place may found boring if the dam water isn't there.
When I visited this place for the first time it was raining and ramnagar mountain were visible from the dam and the clouds were stormy so that was the most awesome and daredevil scene at that time.
