The AC dormitories are good as they offer a semi-pvt arrangement by providing a cabin like space. Washroom in AC dorm is also good and cleaned regularly. As for the non-AC dorms they get hot during summers as it is on the top floor and afternoons become unbearable even with a cooler and fan working. The washroom in the non-AC dorms require serious renovations as most of the amenities are broken or faulty. Rest the dorms are good in terms of the price and proximity to different areas of Varanasi.Both of the dorms have lockers to keep ur things safely but u have to use your own lock as they wont be providing one. If u r planning to stay for a night, Go for it.

Worst experience ever, no waiting room facility for AC class also, my train is suppose to reach 2215 hrs but I am still waiting at 0221 hrs

Clean, but the service is not very good. The condition of the bathroom is normal. Most of the time rooms are not available. But it is better to book in advance. There are lockers. Non AC rooms have air cooler.
