I recently visited the Swami Narayan Temple, and while I appreciated its architectural beauty, I must admit that my overall experience was not as pleasant as I had hoped. The temple is undeniably a marvel in terms of its architectural design, but its size left me somewhat disappointed. The structure appeared smaller than I had imagined, which somewhat detracted from the grandeur I had expected.

One of the major drawbacks of the temple is the corridor, which is being utilized as a residential area for students. This combination of residential living and a religious setting felt somewhat incongruous and disrupted the serene atmosphere one would expect in a temple.

Furthermore, I found the strict rules and regulations enforced by the temple management to be quite off-putting. Visitors are not permitted to take photographs, sit in the temple premises, or touch the idols and architectural elements. While I understand the need to maintain the sanctity of the temple, these restrictions made me feel somewhat unwelcome and restricted in my exploration of the sacred space. It would have been more enjoyable if there were more opportunities to engage with the temple and its surroundings.

Perhaps the most unsettling aspect of my visit was the constant surveillance by the temple staff. It felt as though they were constantly watching and monitoring the visitors, which created an uncomfortable atmosphere. This level of scrutiny detracted from the peaceful and serene experience that one would hope for when visiting a place of worship.

In summary, while the Swami Narayan Temple boasts impressive architectural design, my visit left me with mixed feelings. The small size, the presence of a residential area, and the restrictive rules and surveillance made it challenging to fully appreciate and connect with the spiritual essence of the temple. I hope that in the future, the management can address these issues to create a more welcoming and fulfilling experience for visitors.

Normally you will find Shree Swaminarain temples neat and clean but this mandir needs A++ score, much more than expected. Such beautiful and decorated idols and well managed.

Place is good very good vibe but you must complain to police by dialing at 100 as the poojari is unethical and claiming the mandir of his own property and the guard is illetetate and he shut down the gate mandir when my foot was in and thrown me out and behaved very badly request to all that poojari and guard must be changed otherwise others will suffer from same...
Kindly visit the mandir whenever you want
.. not by someone's permission...
