This small park was developed on an area of ten acres by the Lucknow Development Authority in 1980.
The park has a giant marble statue of Lord Buddha. The park is famous for its serene environment and exquisite beauty. The park also includes artistic elevations, fountains, lamp posts, benches, railings, and a variety of trees and small sculptures.
In this park, there are many types of games available for the child to play, as well as many types of swings that can be swing here.
Apart from this, there is an artificial canal in which paddle boating also done.
Food stalls inside this park is not good because they charge more than MRP price. And food quality is not good.
It's better to bring your own food and drink.

Lord Buddha park is very fine place for fun and enjoyment. This is good spot for picnic as anyone can come up with friends, family and partners. It is worth for children. Children enjoy very much here as boating is available which is centre of attraction. The ticket is Rs10 per person and two wheeler parking is Rs15. But people have to maintain cleanliness as they spread refreshment wrappers here and there although lots of dustbin are available. On the other hand, jhulas (swing) become junk here and are rusting from many years. Management and Government should give attention to this swing part.
