I am mind blown looking at marvellous architecture. It is a 5rs ticket entry and you will see this mandapa on your left side just after you enter the first gopuram. A must experience when you visit Vishnu Kanchi, Kanchipuram.

This is one of the greatest attractions in Varadharaja Perumal Temple in Vishnu Kanchipuram. On the left of West Raj Gopuram of the temple is its famous 100 pillar hall located. The other side you enjoy the full view of Ananth Saras or Temple tank. The special and the importance of the 100 pillar Mandapam. Each side of pillar’s carvings will talk to you. Some are rare to rarest with masterpieces.
The centre of 100 Pillar hall has a small raised wedding mandapam hall, with a 4 pillared. Rest of the 96 pillars are a matrix of 8 rows and 12 columns. The middle pillars are double pillars and have the formation of an army on horses. And the outer pillars are decorated with auspicious signs on them.
All four canners of mandapam, we can see a stone cut chain hanging. It is a masterpiece of stone carving. The mandapam available for visitors between 9:00 am and the entry fee is 5 Rs. Don’t miss when you visit Kanchipuram.
