Such an amazing place. But for sure your legs might be in worse condition for 2-3 days after the trekking and climbing up is so easy than getting down. Challenge yourself, And go for it!. It is worth climbing seven mountains. Don't go there during the day . We started at 2.00a.m at midnight.

Excellent place for trekking. Involves climbing 7 hills, with each hill giving you a different experience. If you are planning to trek , please do it without carrying any luggage. You will get all essential items there like water, snacks etc. Cameras and items that may lead to fire are banned, which includes volini ,match box etc. You will get stick to climb at the bottom. You cannot climb or get down without that. Each hill is approx 1 km and will take an hour to climb. Total trek time one way is 6-7 hours avg. So it will take a total of 12 hours to come down. Please plan your trek on a full moon day and at night so that it won't be difficult. Also, a torch is required if you are planning a trek at night. You will get it there as well.

I plan to visit at shivaratri day because it also one of d special time. Vellaingiri hills opened between march to may only. I travelled from Trichy to Coimbatore by train. After reached Cbe I take bus to reach poondi temple there is the starting point of mountain. Before we got there we stuck in traffic around 3+ hours. So if you want go there make sure to reach the temple before 6 I saying it with my experience. We planned to start hike in between 8-9 o'clock. But we reached there after 12 o'clock.
Some terrible experience apart..

We enjoyed lot there. around 1 o'clock we started hike. There's more people like us. Also saw some people getting down from mountain too. That night and day hike experience give me happiness and hopes. 7 different hills⛰️. Ups and downs, steps, rocks, sand way, some normal terrain, slight steep, some heavy steeps, into wild, day and night. Some feelings can't express in words. Specially after getting hit the 7 th hills it's a blissful feelings. Somemore tym we stayed there. And also another special thing is Ice bath❄️⛄ the river located end of the 6th hill after got bath in the river muscles got free and the some pain gone wonderful and blissful feeling. 1st 2hills is with rock steps. 3rd hill with some rock steps and sliding steep terrain. 4th hills with rocks mixture of last 3 mountain. 5th hill got steep to 6th hill with sand slide, rocks, grasses. 6th is a normal ups and downs, slopes terrain and it's also I mentioned about small river. And finally 7th hill too strap steeps with also some heavy breathings????. After getting top of the 7th hill there's a temple of Vellaingiri Andavar.????
