Writer’s cafe is a pocket friendly cafe in Chennai with multiple outlets in and around the city. Cafe with a book store attached is a dream for all book lovers! Though they have much bigger outlets, the one in Gopalapuram is my personal favourite ! The food served here is extra delicious and a bit different from the other outlets (even if you order the same item on the menu) Madras BBQ pizzas and toasties are my absolute favourite here! Can have it for breakfast and dinner and still not get tired of it! ???? They have quite a few options in drinks too. But not something i would want to try going there. They have yummy flavours of icecream which is worth a try. Parking space is limited but you can always find a place near by to park.

We were a group of 12 and were really loud, not gonna lie.
We booked in advance as we were a huge group. They prepared a table for us, they took our orders, there were a lot of customisations as well. The food was absolutely amazing.
The waiters were so kind and nice to us. They recommended portions to us as well.
Overall a really nice experience.

But wait, the best part was they were selling books and journals which was so cool. They also had the vintage Archies comic books ????

Writer's cafe is an aesthetic cafe that is also pocket friendly. This place is aesthetic and a book lover's joy! The food is great. Highly recommend the Katsu Chicken here. They have multiple options for dessert and beverages also. It's a vibrant cafe that's bound to make you feel good.
