This is one of the oldest hotels in Chennai. It will be a good treat for vegetarian food lovers. The place is always crowded and it's very hard to find a place to sit. Also the biggest issue will be paying, since the hotel doesn't have a dedicated parking space. I've been a regular visitor to this hotel and tried a variety of dishes. The taste hasn't changed much over the years. Also hygiene of the place is a concern, hand wash is not sufficient as per the crowd they get. The price I can say is affordable due to the place the hotel is situated and the quantity is fine compared to the money we pay. Overall a satisfactory eating experience with few complaints.

It's one of the main good option to have food at this locality.
It's on a the side of the busy street at the junction.
There's lots of space for bike parking but they are mostly engaged. Car parking you may find on the busy street mostly on opposite side, if you are lucky.
It's mostly extremely crowded in the dinner time after 7.30pm.
There's place even at 1st floor which is open for service during peak hours.

Welcome is the place where I visited since my childhood. The food taste has reduced compared to previous days. But nevertheless it is good to know that people still come here with family to have good dinner time. The 1st floor dining area is much better than the ground floor.
