Guindy bus is a good place where breakfast,lunch,dinner is easily available at minimum price, like 30,40 approximately, food items are as follows - dosa,bonda,smosa,rice,veg rice etc.

Guindy is one of the junction point for mtc buses to reach most of the major areas in chennai city. We can get frequent MTC bus towards below routes,
Route 1 - pallavaram, chromepet, Tambaram vandallor
Route 2- Porur, poonamalle, Kundrathur
Route 3- Vadapalani, Koyambedu, Redhills
Route 4 - Saisapet, TVS, Central, Broadway, Annasqaure
Route 5- Velacherry, Sholinganallur, Siruseri, Kelambakkam
Route 6 -Anna University, Mandaveli(54F), Tiruvanmiyur(49,T70)

Please Note that there are two guindy busstops , one is for all incoming buses and one is for outgoing ones. For example, let's take bus number 570, when it goes from Koyambedu to Siruseri via guindy it departs from one side and when it goes from Siruseri to Koyambedu via guindy it departs from other side. Similarly for other Routes as well. We have to walk nearly 200 meters between these two stops .
There is a Subway available between these two bus stops to cross the roads. This Subway most of the time will be crowded because there a local train station to reach Tambaram and Central and a metro station available right after Subway.
Guindy bus stop cleaning is ok but can be improved. Overall, one of the major junction point inn the city. I rate 4/5.
