One of the best temple in Chennai. Everyone must visit this temple. Will get divine vibe with during festival times due to crowd as well as instruments. Not very big temple in comparison with some other big temples in the Chennai. There was no special ticket dharshan which was good. Parking can be very hard we we have to park in the surrounding of the temple in the road side.

This is one of the reasons oldest temple in the city which is dedicated to goddess Kamakshi and Lord Kamadeswarar and it is located in Parry’s corner. This temple was originally located closer to sea shore and it got relocated to the current place. Since this temple is at the crowded location we will not find any parking spots for 4 wheelers. I was made to run around to get a spot. People who have shops and other establishment around this temple are very helpful. They will come running and ask you to take the vehicle from the parking spot even if you find one. They have a few people in these streets to look after that. That’s the only problem here so be prepared to park your vehicle somewhere else and walk to this place to avoid such issues. Temple is maintained neat and clean. They make you to sit in front of the god for couple of minutes to get her Darshan. Overall this is a nice place to get the blessings of goddess Kalikambal and get your mind and soul relaxed. You should definitely visit this temple at least once.

We visited this temple in the evening. It's a very old and famous temple in the city.
There was an utchavam going during our visit.
It's easy accessibility by Mannadi Metro station ????. Walkable distance from the station
This temple is located in the busiest area of Chennai City. We don't have a parking facility in the temple.
They will do Pooja and Arathi for devotees.
