Jai Niwas Garden in Jaipur has a unique and interesting display of ancient scientific tools used for measuring. The collection was extensive and well-curated, and I appreciated the effort that went into presenting this fascinating piece of history.
In addition to the impressive display, the garden itself had a lovely ambiance that made it a pleasure to explore. The lush greenery and well-maintained grounds were a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of the city.
One thing to note is that there is drinking water available on the premises, which is a nice touch for those visiting on a hot day. However, I am not sure about the parking facility, so it's worth doing some research before you go.
If you happen to be a student, be sure to bring your ID card with you as there is compensation available. This is a great incentive for students who are interested in learning more about the history of scientific measurement.
Overall, I would definitely recommend a visit to Jai Niwas Garden for anyone interested in history, science, or simply a relaxing afternoon in a beautiful setting. The unique display of ancient measuring tools is truly fascinating, and the garden itself is a tranquil oasis in the heart of the city.

Jai Niwas Garden was a very incredibly structured observatory... built many years ago and has been so well maintained. This place does have a lot of tourists but it is big enough that you have an incredible time.
It is amazing how innovative this was back in its time. Still today completely accurate.
My suggestion is have a guide. Not your tuk tuk driver but a "red card" holding guide. These people are literally masters of Indian history and culture. I guarantee that you will learn so much and be totally happy you got a guide.
This would always be a wonderful place to sit and ponder about the possibilities.. of everything.
