Over-rated. The food look and smells delicious butthe taste is not that great. it is over rated. Place full of rush (people waiting for their turn). Not much attention is paid to people waiting for their turn. Service is quick and good. But the food is not that good as people state. I personally wont recommend this place.

Pure Food with Great Taste.
Kesar Da Dhaba is one of the most popular and reputed Dhaba in Amritsar. It is very popular for its Dal Fry, Palak Paneer and Lachha Paratha. I ordered Dal Fry, Palak Paneer, Malai Kofta and Lachha Parantha. The prices are very moderate and it was very crowded on a Sunday night. I waited for my turn for about 30 minutes but it was worth the wait. Lachha Paratha was very soft and very light on the stomach. I must say that their Lachha Parantha is the best Parantha in North India. Dal fry was very tasty and tadka of desi ghee on top enhances its taste. Palak Paneer was also great with normal spices. But Malai Kofta was not as good as other dishes. The overall food was light on stomach and suitable for all age groups as they add normal light spices in their preparation.
