Gurdwara Santokhsar Sahib is an historical shrine of sikhs. It is just opposite to bhrawan da dhaba. This is one of the five holy sarovars in city. The construction of this holy sarovar is completed by 5th Guru Sahiban of Sikhs Dhan Dan Shri Guru Arjan dev Sahib ji . If you are running after peace, must do the prayer inside the Gurdwara Sahib with sincerety and complete faith and take an amrit from the holy sarovar just have it. The most difficult part is finding a place to stay in amritsar. If you have made that far then it's recommended to reach the gurudwara before dawn. There will be a queue, a rather long one, so be prepared to stand for 3-5 hours. The gurudwara is quite serene and peaceful although you may not be able to stay there for too long due to the crowd. Also before making your way out don't miss the langar.
