We visited Golden Temple in the second week of April 2023. This is a Sikh religious site which carries and represents Sikh culture and history. People from all communities, religions and faith are welcome here. We went to the temple food centre (Langar hall) where food is served all day and night long for free for all the visitors and devotees. People were very friendly. Car parking was very affordable and easy to reach. I highly recommend this site for visitors who would like to know more about Sikh culture.

The aura of this place is so pure and pious ❤️????????. The most religious place in North India and gives u so much solitude to visit here.
It'll be good to avoid reaching here in the early morning around 3am when it open as the line and crowd might be humongous as low of ppl come and wait for it to open at 3am. One can come any time during the day when the queue is moving.

Golden temple is in Amristar, punjab ia one of the most sacred place of Sikhs. Its so famous that now a days everyone goes there at least once. Its worth visiting, its beauty is amazing, peaceful place.
It has biggest langar (free meal in the community hall of gurudwara), that is serving thousands of people every day.
It has a sacred pond at its center and the main gurudwara looks beautiful during evening time. About its beauty you should visit it once, its so beautiful that i am not able to describe it.

At anytime there is always big queue for darshan, but i have heard its takes less time early in the morning around 4 AM. Minimum it takes 1 hour otherwise, we also were in queue for 1hr 10 mins but when the gurudwara people saw we have small child in our lap, we were allowed to go first.
