Absolutely loved this waterfall!

The hike down is not too bad, the path is well made and properly maintained. The view on the way are gorgeous!

Once you reach the waterfall, the turquoise blue water is simply mesmerizing!

We were not planning on swimming, but when we saw the water, we decided to hike back to parking to pick up our swimming clothes.

You have to wear a life jacket if you want to get into the water, it is mandatory. I guess even if you know how to swim well, they have to charge you for the life jacket and also make sure nothing happens to you.

The water was really cold, we could not stay more than 10-15 minutes. But it was enough to enjoy the refreshing turquoise blue water. It is so clear and calm - simply amazing ????

They have changing rooms and bathrooms you can use.

We felt so refreshed after swimming, it was simply amazing.

I would definitely recommend you visiting this waterfall, any time of the year it is good, I guess. We were there in the first week of March and even then the water was fresh, clear and pleasant (for short time).

Take the detour and make a few hours on your itinerary to enjoy this wonderful waterfall, you will definitely not regret it!????

I recently visited Krang Shuri Falls in Meghalaya and I must say, it was a breathtaking experience! The crystal clear blue water cascading down the rocks is a sight to behold. The lush green surroundings add to the beauty of the falls and make it a perfect spot for nature lovers.

The trek to the falls is quite easy and enjoyable, with beautiful views along the way. The falls are surrounded by a well-maintained park with seating areas, making it an ideal place for a picnic or a relaxing day out with friends and family.

The water is quite chilly, but it's definitely worth taking a dip in the refreshing pool at the bottom of the falls. It's a great place to cool off on a hot day. The locals are very friendly and helpful, and they make the whole experience even more enjoyable.

Overall, Krang Shuri Falls is a must-visit destination for anyone visiting Meghalaya. The natural beauty of the falls and the surrounding area is truly awe-inspiring. I highly recommend it!

Best waterfall in cherrapungi and everywhere.
Water was in deep blue colour

To reach this waterfall you need to walk 2 km by stairs.
Around 200 steps approx one way
The way is good and covered with trees
Benches available to sit and relax

View is nice
Carry water with you as you won't get it on the way
Stairs are easy for everyone to walk .no trekking skills required.

You can enter the pool with safety jackets which are available in rent
Also you need to take entry fees per person
There are security guards who keep checking if you enter water

I guess all is good here
If you just sit and relax you can do so
