Very beautiful place on the dawki river. It is around 8 kms distance from dawki. Especially the hanging bridge is must to see. The views of river, hills and the boats from the bridge is very good. Boating and kayaking facilities are available at the point. Boating will cost around 500 rupees for a couple for an hour. Water is crystal clear and river bottom can be seen from the boat.

Absolutely beautiful spot to hang out for the day. Boating, fishing and swimming are just some of the activities that are available at Shnongpdeng Point. Great place to take your family, you do have to climb a few stairs though (not too many). Make sure you have at least 2 hours.

Shnongpdeng is a beautiful place located in the Jaintia hills of Meghalaya where the serene Umngot river flows. This river is so clean that the boats look like they are floating in thin air.
Shnongpdeng is frequented by locals , has crystal clear waters and amazing views of the suspension bridge.
