It's is a marvel of nature and definitely worth taking out time to go during any trip to this region. We were lucky to have a good clear to visit.
The waterfall itself is pretty and calm , be careful while going into the water as the stones are slippery.
A heads up :The steps down to the bridge is a fair bit of a walk and not for people with any medical conditions .

Living root bridge of Riwai Village is about 75 Kilometres away from Shillong. Although there are many root bridges in Meghalaya, this is the most visited one. It is on the way to Mawlynnong village the cleanest village of Asia. Tourists need to walk about 300 metres to reach the bridge from the parking lot. Steps and footpaths leading to the bridge are made up of stones which look natural and beautiful. The living root bridge is a piece of marvel. It looks unimaginable. The intertwined roots of the trees grown on both sides of the river bank are real and actual. It is the indigenous people who do the magic of making these root bridges. These bridges are very helpful for the locals in many ways and make their lives easier. Great to see a number of people standing on the bridge at a time. The river flowing down looks really nice and breathtaking. Living root bridge sites have recently been added to the UNESCO world heritage site. Nominal entry fees is charged at the entrance.Wheelchair access is not available as the bridge is located in the hilly terrains. Shops selling tea and snacks are available near the parking lot.Handicraft items are also available in some of the shops. Paid Washrooms are available and are really neat and tidy. Dustbins are kept at short intervals so that the place remains neat and clean.
