Wow! The experience was awesome. It's situated near the 7th Sisters Falls in Cherapunji, Meghalaya. This is actually a cave, not for those who are fatty or bulky as the passage through certain areas are too narrow to go through.

Even though the lights are perfect but you may feel claustrophobia. Avoid visiting this cave alone and in the evening or even in the rainy seasons. Overall a thrilling experiences.

The entrance to the cave is cool with plentiful of shops nearby.

Great place in chherapunjii.

If you an adventurous person would definitely like to explore this cave. Entry ticket is 30rs per person. Distance is said to be 150m long. There is enough light to see ahead still needed can use your phone light.

There are 2 caves, we went to only one. Be careful while walking, it could be slippery at some places.

The jungle outside this cave is peaceful. Here they charge ₹ 30 for parking, ₹ 30 per person to go to the cave and ₹ 20 for camera or mobile.

On the way to the cave near the parking lot there are restaurants and shops, where you can dine and buy local goods, souvenirs and spices.

Mawsmai caves are old caves. The approach to the caves is steep and uneven.
The entry inside the caves is narrow and has huge boulders.
Exploring the caves is a wonderful experience
