This is a wonderful place to visit if you want to know the history and understand the cultural heritage of Manipur ❤️

The Imphal Peace Museum is a World War II museum at the foothills of the Red Hills (Maibam Lokpa Ching) in Manipur. It is a living memory of the Battle of Imphal (Anglo-Japanese war) and other World War II battles (March-July 1944) fought in Manipur. It is supported by the Nippon Foundation (TNF).

Imphal Peace Museum is a Chronicle of the Heroism of the ordinary Manipuris dedicated to the indomitable human spirit which was so abundantly evident in the manner Manipur embraced as inevitable what can only be described as an epochal catastrophe, and in the end, emerged triumphantly.

This is a 6500 sq ft gallery where WWII archaeological finds are allotted appropriate contextual spaces in the narrative of a cataclysmic historical trajectory Manipur found itself in because of a peculiar turn of the geopolitics of the period.

This museum is built by India-Japan for the sake of peace. In 2018 Sanju abe the late and former President of Japan visited Imphal for the inauguration of Imphal peace museum and Imphal peace memorial.

Note: These area contains Imphal peace museum Imphal peace memorial red hill and kunjogram. It will take hardly 2 hours to visit the whole area. And you can also visit Sadhu Chiro waterfall which is nearly 8 km from this area and make sure you have your private car or rented car to go there.

I'm luck to have a Japanese couple during my visit ❤️

Both of these two sports are located under under the red hill which is which is the place where British army and Japanese army Ford against each other and Japan's bomber planes bombed this hills and the local areas around the Imphal.

Because because during the time of World war 2 the manipur's Imphal became the one of the most important city to capture and to defeat bridgest there for the Japanese soldiers and Indian National army we are working together against British Indian army which is colonial British army.
This Imphal use museum resonance are describes that the Japanese site and the British size both are Manipuri and also Indians. To promote peace and harmony among these to groups and to show solidarity with those who lost their leaves during the World war 2 from the British side and from the Japanese side.
