Well maintained, clean and calm metro station. Staff very helpful. Cheap fare and punctual trains are appealing. Enjoyed the daily travel very much. Even students are allowed to carry bicycles in trains. Each train has a designated space for bicycles

Metro station is very clean and developed by ñagpur mahanagarpalika... Maharashtra, India.[2][3] It is estimated to cost ₹8,260 crore (equivalent to ₹110 billion or US$1.5 billion in 2020).[4] In February 2014, the Government of Maharashtra gave approval for the Metro Project,[5] while the Government of India's Ministry of Urban Development had given "In Principle" approval for the Project.[6] On 20 August 2014, Union Cabinet gave approval for the development of project, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid foundation stone on 21 August on his visit to the city.[4] Construction on the project began on 31 May 2015,[7] with trial run beginning on 30 September 2017. Prime minister Narendra Modi inaugurated operations on Nagpur Metro on 8 March 2019[8] via video conferencing along with Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Devendra Fadnavis and Union Cabinet Minister Nitin Gadkari.[1][9]

Nagpur Metro becomes 13th Metro system in India to be operational.[10] It is also being touted as the greenest metro rail in India.[8]

In August 21 2021, Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray inaugurated a 1.6 km expansion between Sitabuldi and Kasturchand Park. This featured the Zero Mile Freedom Park station which has a 60,000-sq ft park and a 20-storey building,

Well maintained station. It is located above road flyover and hence its part of the double deckered flyover above metro bridge. One needs to climb multiple levels of escalators to reach the train level. Staffs check for covid symptoms at the entry level which ensure safe journey to passengers. Has got cycle bays renting out the cycles for minimal charge which is a good sustainable initiative.
The good thing about Nagpur metro is that you can take your bicycle in the train on your way to office which is helps reduce carbon foot print. Has got wheel chair access also.
