Omkareshwar Jyotirling - Mahadev Mandir 58km away from Mahakaleshwar, Ujjain. The temple is situated on Mandhata or Shivpuri island on the banks of Narmada and Kaveri river..this is a very Beautiful location. The island is 4 KM long and can be approached by boats and bridge. Also, Mumleshwar mahdev temple is situated there.

Such a beautiful place - peaceful and pious atmosphere. We reached early morning by train and spent one night here.. Ghat has bathing facilities incase you have mid morning checkin. There are also some changing rooms at ghats. We combined omkareshwar and mahakaleshwar in a weekend getaway from Ahmedabad and took night stay at Omkareshwar and it was a great experience. Evening arti at ghat and boat ride marked a great end to our evening at Omkareshwar.
