Location is perfect near to railway station also rooms were quite affordable double bed around 700/ single was around 500/ overall the room location was less crowdy. But the service was pathetic. No was coming to clean the room. Cockroaches were around the bed and floor. Staffs behavior was kind and helpful. Overall I want to give 4.5 out of 5.

Stay away! They charge extra for foreigners (800 rupees instead of 500 I read in the other reviews or 300 to fill in a form plus 700 a night). In addition it's quite dirty and full of mosquitoes in the night so you can barely get any sleep. The only good thing about this place is that it's near to the railway station. But there are other places nearby which are cheaper and better and, more importantly, where the people are much nicer. For example om plaza (clean rooms, 24 hours hot water)

My recent stay at Hotel Thakurji in Bhopal was quite disappointing, primarily due to the issues I encountered with the reception and housekeeping services. Unfortunately, the overall experience fell short of my expectations.

To begin with, the reception at Hotel Thakurji was subpar. The staff seemed disinterested and lacked the professionalism one would expect . Upon arrival, I had to wait for an extended period before anyone attended to me, and even then, their manner was indifferent and unwelcoming. The lack of hospitality and attentiveness at the reception desk left a negative impression right from the start.

Furthermore, the housekeeping services at the hotel were even worse. The cleanliness of my room was far from satisfactory. I noticed dust on surfaces, stains on the furniture, and the bathroom was not properly cleaned. It was evident that attention to detail and thoroughness were lacking in the housekeeping staff's efforts. Overall, the poor housekeeping standards significantly impacted my comfort and enjoyment during my stay.

In addition to the cleanliness issues, the housekeeping staff was unresponsive to requests for basic amenities. There were times when I had to repeatedly call for items such as towels or toiletries, only to receive them after considerable delays. The lack of promptness and attentiveness from the housekeeping team was frustrating and indicative of their poor service quality.

Given the disappointing reception and lackluster housekeeping, I cannot recommend Hotel Thakurji in Bhopal. The issues I encountered with the reception staff and the substandard housekeeping services significantly detracted from my overall experience. I believe that improvements in both areas are necessary to provide a satisfactory stay for guests.
