Bad experience !!

Not so good attitude of security.

They've limited parking at the front.
So was asked to go to basement for parking.
Security at the basement discouraged using elevator as the visit is to supermarket.
After purchase, i asked if I could take shopping cart to parking. Security at supermarket door discouraged. His point was to carry everything by hand leaving the cart at shop.

Was a real pain hand-carrying many small items held together using both hands at the same time managing my toddler.

Never seen such customer unfriendly attitude in any shops visited.

Will not shop here again.

Reasonably good place for shopping groceries. I usually go there to purchase exotic fruits and frozen items. The security chettan here is very helpful to load the items into my vehicle, especially when I have purchased them loosely without a cover. They do it without expecting any tips. That's basic humanity. The managers are also kind and helpful. However a couple of staff boys at the billing section are very lazy. They expect customers to pack the items into carry bags after billing even if we provide the carry bags. All they will do is bill the items and tell you the total. You are expected to pack the items yourself, especially, if you are a lady. Today after my days work and shopping in few other shops, I came to nilgiris and purchased about 3000 rs worth items and gave the covers to the billing boy for packing and he sort of commanded me to hold the covers open for him to put them. Atrocious. I told him to do it himself for which he made a lot of mean faces at me. When he saw that i wasnt budging he packed the stuff in 3 minutes without anyones help. This is not a happy experience for me. Customers are coming to the shop after their share of the days hard work. If not to bill the items and pack them, then what are these boys standing there for? Hope the management will look into this aspect and rectify it by training the billing staff to treat customers especially ladies with respect. We customers don't want to deal with this kind of negativity at the end of our days work, that too after paying for the services.
