The Staff is knowledgeable of the history of Cochin even before the Europeans ever arrived to the Port. Enjoyed a small and very interesting exchange of historical facts. The museum artifacts transported the experience in the time of the Portuguese establishment on the land! Photography is not permitted, but there are we'll written texts on the artifacts and related history.
The grounds are very well kept and grand, visitors can stroll and photograph plants and trees! Tickets are 14 Rs

Honestly couldn’t get to look at the museum and enjoy it because the guy at the ticket counter just did not stop talking. He kept blabbering about history and whatever he knew for 45 minutes!!! Never stop to listen to that guy and please know when to stop. There is a alot of history- sure but it felt like we were held captives to listen to what the guy had researched on. Please be careful while visiting this place.

Beautiful museum showcasing history about Dutch visit to India and the churches they built. Must visit.
