A very nice place but you have to pick and choose the time to go because if you go at the wrong time you won't be able to enjoy this place. First of all avoiding the weekend would be a very wise decision. The crowd is way too much in the weekend, you just won't be able to enjoy the place in peace. Also in summers the daytime is just too hot and sucks your energy.

Best time would be in monsoon followed by winters. Weekdays would be preferable as the crowd will be less. Morning is the best time to go, though I feel in monsoon you can go anytime. So overall if you pick a right time, this is a lovely place else it just feels like another place with lots of people.

The road to reach there is absolutely beautiful and high quality. It hardly takes an hour or so to reach the hills. Ample parking is available. Also I guess there is a route via treking to reach at the top which could be explored.

Best place for a weekend trip but i prefer to go on weekdays for less crowd. The road is nice and has a good parking space, I prefer to go by a 2 wheeler and not a car. Ticket charge is also affordable and the hotel is also good for snacks. You can spend a lot of time in that place to see the fog and walk through the garden.
