With a theme of music, Melody World Wax Museum is one of the popular sightseeing places of the city. A heritage building of Mysore, the building of this museum is said to be more than 90 years old. It also boasts of having the largest collection of musical instruments in Karnataka. Varied kinds of musical instruments belonging to different parts of the country and ages have been displayed here.

Life-size wax statues in native attires are a few of the major attractions at this museum. Display of a wide array of musical instruments, life size statues of musicians playing various instruments in out of the ordinary sets make this museum a place worth visiting.

Apart from museum there is Horror World for entertainment but its not that scary and not worth for the ticket fee.

The ticket charge for entering the museum is Rs.60 and if you wish to see horror world its another Rs.60.

There is gender separate washroom but its not clean. They could improve on that aspect too.

Apart from that it is good place for a one time visit.

The wax museum had an impressive collection of musical instruments on display. From ancient percussion instruments to modern electronic keyboards, the museum had something for every music enthusiast. Each exhibit was carefully curated with information about the history and significance of the instrument. It was evident that the museum had put a lot of effort into acquiring and showcasing these artifacts

while the wax museum's collection of musical instruments was impressive, the poor maintenance detracted from the overall experience. Visitors could benefit from the museum's investment in regular upkeep and restoration to ensure that the exhibits are in top condition.

India's Largest collection of musical instruments (Over 1500 musical instruments) + over 100 life-size wax statues. Fun place along with a Horror House, VR Virtual Reality & plenty of games. Museum established in October 2010 is World Recognized. A unique experience for family and groups. Ticket rates are Rs.60 per head and open on all days from 9.30am ~ 7,30pm
