Bangalore Palace is one of the famous place to visit in Bangalore. Though this place is little costly as we have entry Ticket is Rs240 and Foreigners have to pay more as well as you have to pay Rs 300 for mobile photography and Rs 700 for DSLR. But then this place is worth visiting according to me as you'll be able to know lot of things , history and why Mysore is an important part for Bangalore .

Bangalore Palace is a palace located in Bangalore, Karnataka, India, in an area that was owned by Rev. J. Garrett, the first principal of the Central High School in Bangalore, now famous as Central College. The commencement of the construction of the palace is attributed to him.

A beautiful palace but a small one. This was once built for the king to have a place to study since he came to Bangalore for his studies.

Entry fee is quite expensive. If you bring a DSLR along, you gotta shell out around INR 900 for your entry and DSLR in the palace. They also have a small garden.

I was expecting it to be a huge palace but after going inside and ready about it's history, I got to know that this place was built only for the kind to stay here for a short time. Considering that, they built something huge. Eh?

History is interesting, the interiors of the palace are great, and you also see a lot of historic pieces and photographs on the inside which belong to the royal family.

Have a good visit!
