Asigarh Fort, also called Hansi Fort, is located on the eastern bank of Amti lake in Hansi town of Haryana, India, about 135 km from Delhi on NH9. Spread over 30 acres, in its prime days this fort used to be in control of 80 forts in the area around it.[1] The fort is said to be one of the most impregnable forts of ancient India[2] and has been declared a centrally protected monument by ASI in 1937. Asigarh the fort of swords, from Asi (sword) and garh (fort), as this was the centre of sword making from the ancient times of Hindu rulers.

There are several names used for the fort in different anecdotes, such as Asidurga, Asigarh, Asika, A-sika, Ansi, Hansi, etc.,

Based on what I read on reviews I visited this fort which is supposedly called Hindu fort whch the Tomars and Privthiraj Chauhan used.
What I found intact was a temple with a green colour dome, some monuments with strong Islamic influence a building with British look and a small number of pillars bearing Hindu influence. The view from top was probably the vantage point.
There is no parking. Access road is narrow and convenient for 2 wheelers. The temple- dargah seemed popular amongst locals.

This fort is one of the forts of India's greatest hero Prithviraj Chauhan.

It is located in Hasi, Haryana.

The approach roads are well maintained and the fort is easily accessible, however there is no signage or boards advertising the fort near ir around in the surrounding.

We used Google Maps to locate the fort.

The vibe of the King is stl there and the grandeur can still be felt.

Locals use the fort as a dumping ground and a cricket ground now.

Better upkeep could have made his as a great historical monument and generate revenue for the local population and business
