I visited the newly opened, very cute restaurant/cafe in the Global Foyer Mall on date night with my hubby. We always wanted to try Korean food, paired with Soju, and we finally got to do it!
- Ambience, Decor & Seating:
As you walk into the restaurant on the ground floor, you can either take a private cabin with curtains on your right or with sliding doors on your left. The lighting in these adorable cabins is also good, not too much, not too little. There is seating available upstairs for bigger groups and its more lit.
- Menu, Availability and Pricing:
The menu is huge and each item is assigned a number, that you can quote to your server. I was surprised to see that all the items listed on the menu were available! The dishes range from dimsums, noodles, rice, starters to main course dishes with all kinds of seafood like shrimps, prawns, fish, octopus, squid, crab etc and pork, lamb and chicken. Since all the items use premium ingredients, the items are also priced on the high-end but it’s totally value for money!
- Food Quantity, Quality and Taste:
We tried many dishes and the portion size was very good; we had to pack most of the dishes. The quality of ingredients used was first class; fresh seafood and vegetables. We ordered the following dishes and thoroughly enjoyed them -
~ Pan Fried Chicken Dumplings: 6 pieces of juicy chicken dumplings, pan fried in a tangy sauce. An amazing starter!
~ Kimbap: It looks like sushi and is basically vegetables, crab, egg and ham rolled in rice. It was served with soy sauce and was a fun starter! We were served condiments like kimchi and danmuji to have with this dish.
~ Ramyun Noodles: Spicy instant noodles with egg, chicken and spring onions. It was spicy and tasty and served piping hot. Quite a wholesome dish.
~ Osam Bulgogi: Pork & Seafood mixed with Fresh Vegetables, served sizzling hot! This dish is a meat lover’s favourite meal! It is a spicy, garlicky stir-fry dish that contains prawns, squids, octopus and pork belly. We were served Sigeumchi Namul and Hobak Bokkeum as side dishes with this item.
Below is the description of the number of side dishes or Banchan that served:
~ Jangajji: Pickled garlic & jalapeños, green-ish in colour.
~ Kimchi: Fermented cabbage and other vegetables flavoured sour, salty and savoury, orange-ish in colour.
~ Danmuji: Sweet & sour pickled radish with bright yellow colour.
~ Sigeumchi Namul: Blanched spinach leaves, seasoned with a few basic ingredients like salt, garlic, sesame oil & seeds, green in colour.
~ Oi Muchim: A spicy, crunchy cucumber salad, mixed colours.
~ Hobak Bokkeum: Stir fried zucchini seasoned with basic seasonings and sesame seeds, greenish in colour.
~ Sausage Yachae Bokkeum: Sausage stir fry with vegetables, ketchup and sugar, reddish in colour.
We paired it with Jinro Chamisul Soju and had a great time!
We also met really friendly Korean people at the restaurant and had a good time with them too.

The atmosphere is good. You will dine in in a small private room but the staff will not close the door fully upon exiting. Everytime I stand up to close the door fully, I deduct half a star. Sides were good but food is okay. Doesnt felt authentic like how the other reviews were saying. Serving speed is very inconsistent. The music can be too loud for a small room and the choice of music is very unsuitable for the atmosphere. The location of this restaurant is like an abandoned building.
