This is a long term review from a local so my words may or may not hold true for some people. While there was a time when Maple Leaf bakery (as it was known before) was a good place for a coffee and a quick bite, the same is not true anymore. The service available is lackluster at best followed by immense waiting for simple orders to be fulfilled. Moreover the quality of baked goods has decreased over time. Cakes and cookies are underwhelming at best, the pastries offered are nothing to write home about and that's a shame. Perhaps it's wrong for me to expect the same taste now from 20 years back but then again it's not just the taste but the quality of the baked goods available that has taken a hit. It's high time to buckle up and bring back some much needed change. Giving 2 stars for the time being even though the place deserves one.
